This morning, the story out of Jacksonville was Jaguars first-round pick Dante Fowler Jr. suffered a terrible injury during practice.

Unfortunately, the speculation as to the extent of the injury has become fact. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Fowler did indeed tear his ACL and will miss the entire 2015 season.

It’s an absolutely horrific blow to the Jaguars and head coach Gus Bradley, who were relying on the No. 3 overall pick in last week’s draft to provide the team with the pass-rush threat that it’s been missing.

For Fowler, who suffered the injury during his first day of practice in the NFL, it’s an absolutely devastating blow.

The injury was caught on video as it happened.

We wish Fowler a speedy recovery. Hopefully he’s able to come back from this injury stronger than ever.
