Jaguars expect Ivory to play in opener despite calf injury

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) The Jacksonville Jaguars expect running back Chris Ivory to play in the team's season opener against Green Bay despite a calf injury.

Ivory was limited in practice for the third consecutive day Friday and listed as questionable on the injury report, but coach Gus Bradley says ''the arrow's up'' on him.

Asked whether Ivory's injury would impact the running back rotation, Bradley said, ''I don't foresee it, no.'' Ivory, a 1,000-yard rusher with the New York Jets last season, and second-year pro T.J. Yeldon are expected to split carries.

Defensive end Jared Odrick, who was hit in the jaw during practice Wednesday and placed in the NFL's concussion protocol, returned to practice Friday. Odrick also was listed as questionable for the opener.
