Injury Report: Oakland Raiders vs. Houston Texans
Injury report for both the Oakland Raiders and the Houston Texans ahead of their Week 11 Monday Night matchup in Mexico City.
Days away from their second consecutive primetime game, the Oakland Raiders are coming off of their bye week looking relatively healthy.
Let’s check in on the injury report for both the Raiders and the Texans, and see who might be in danger of missing the Monday night’s contest.
Amari Cooper – Limited (back)
Rodney Hudson – Limited (knee)
Stacy McGee – Limited (ankle)
Latavius Murray – Limited (ankle)
Kelechi Osemele – Limited (knee)
Sean Smith – Limited (shoulder)
Several notable players appear on the injury list, but coming off a bye week, most of this is likely just continuing to give guys some extra rest. Stacy McGee is most likely the only member of this group that could miss the Texans game,.
The injured player all of Raider Nation is most interested in knowing about isn’t included on the list because he isn’t officially on the 53-man roster — Mario Edwards Jr.
Per Vic Tafur, Edwards still isn’t back at practice. So he’s probably a safe bet to miss Monday’s game.
Here is Houston’s injury report:
CB A.J. Bouye and G Xavier Su’a-Filo returned to practice.
For the Texans, this is quite the list of injuries. And it doesn’t include J.J. Watt, of course, who is on injured reserve. So this is a team that is certainly banged up.
Duane Brown, who missed Week 10, would be a huge loss to the offensive line.
Will Fuller and Lamar Miller are both dynamic talents, so those are certainly players to keep an eye on. As is Vince Wilfork, who while is past his prime, is still a presence in the middle of the defense.
And then there is Clowney, who although has not lived up to the #1 pick hype, could pose problems for Oakland’s revolving door right tackles.
