How the San Diego Chargers will fare in the AFC West

The AFC West this season will be one of the toughest divisions to earn a spot into the post season. All four teams have made improvements to both sides of the ball in the off season and it shows. The Chargers are currently sitting at 1-1 tied with the Oakland Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs, while the Denver Broncos hold the lead in the division with a 2-0 record (1-0 division record).

Although it is still very early into the season, lets take a look how the Chargers will place in the AFC West.

San Diego Chargers divisional record : (4-2)

With the Chargers going 4-2 within the division, finishing first or second, they will put themselves in position to make the post season with either a Wild Card birth or an AFC West title, which would be their first division title since 2008. The early favorite at the moment to take the AFC West crown is Denver, But with how competitive the AFC West is, San Diego has a great chance to take the division.
