Herschel Walker explains why he thinks RG3 is perfect for the Cowboys
Robert Griffin is one of the biggest names left on the QB market, and opinions vary on his perfect landing spot. RG3 reportedly wants to join the Rams, but Hall of Fame running back Herschel Walker has another team in mind.
TMZ Sports caught up with the former Dallas Cowboys great and thinks Griffin would be an ideal fit for the 'Boys.
"RG3 just needs to find a team that believes in him," Walker said. "Once he does that, he'll be all right."
When pressed about the possibility of the Cowboys landing him, Walker didn't hesitate.
"I think RG3 would fit in well with the Cowboys," Walker said. "The Cowboys need a quarterback, and I think he would fit in well with them."
Tony Romo had surgery on his collarbone in the offseason. But the Cowboys need to plan for life after the 35-year-old QB, giving Griffin time to hone his skills.
Griffin, 26, threw for 1,694 yards, four touchdowns and six interceptions in seven starts for the Redskins in 2015.
