Graham returns after locker-room visit

Published Jan. 14, 2012 12:00 a.m. ET

The New Orleans Saints suffered a temporary scare in the first quarter after their Pro Bowl tight end, Jimmy Graham, was taken into the locker room.

Graham, who has since returned to action, was taken into the locker room to be tested for concussion-like symptoms after he hit his head on the ground with 11:34 in the first quarter.

Drew Brees threw a deep pass to Graham on third-and-5, but Graham was unable to catch the ball. The play was flagged for pass interference on Donte Whitner.

Graham has been Brees’ favorite target this season, hauling in 99 receptions in the regular season.
