Giants' Tuck OK after car crash

It was an interesting ushering in of the New Year for Giants Pro Bowl defensive end Justin Tuck, who on New Year’s Eve was involved in a minor car accident that resulted in no injuries to Tuck and his wife, Lauren, but did involve some damage to his brand new Cadillac Escalade, the New York Post reported Saturday.
It took place on Route 4 in Teaneck, N.J. about 8:30 p.m. when Tuck’s SUV hit a Nissan Maxima. Bergen County Police told TMZ the accident was “minor’’ and no injuries were reported.
Tuck Saturday morning made it into work at the Giants' Timex Performance Center facility, where the Giants went through their usual day-before-game walkthrough before leaving for Washington for Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Redskins.
He missed a day of practice this week and was on the injury report with a chest injury but he will play.
Tuck was named this week to the NFC Pro Bowl team for the second time in his career. He will be a reserve for the January 30 game in Honolulu.
