Feldman: Jim Harbaugh will be Michigan Wolverines' next football coach

UPDATE: According to FOX Sports college football insider Bruce Feldman, Jim Harbaugh will be the next head coach of the Michigan Wolverines. His family is flying to Michigan on Monday, according to Feldman.

FOX Sports 1 NFL insider Jay Glazer reported way back in Week 1 that Jim Harbaugh would not return to the 49ers after this season, and his time with the team looks to be coming to an end.

Yet despite reports claiming that Harbaugh has accepted the job as head coach at Michigan, Glazer says he has not accepted it yet. Harbaugh's tenure with the 49ers is likely to end as early as Monday, but according to Glazer, 49ers officials don't yet know Harbaugh's plans, either.

Michigan has offered Harbaugh a deal worth in the range of $48 million over six years.

Meanwhile, the Raiders still want Harbaugh and are holding out hope. It Harbaugh does in fact bolt to Michigan, interim head coach Tony Sparano may actually get the full-time gig.
