Eagles VP compares Carson Wentz and Jared Goff to ice cream flavors

The Philadelphia Eagles are suddenly in position to land one of the two top-rated quarterbacks in next  week's NFL Draft. The Eagles moved up six spots to the second pick Wednesday in a blockbuster deal with the Browns.

It sets up the Eagles to draft whichever quarterback the Rams, who moved up to the No. 1 spot earlier this month, pass at the top spot between former Cal QB Jared Goff or former North Dakota State signal-caller Carson Wentz.

So whom do the Eagles like more? Eagles VP Howie Roseman must have been hungry when he answered that question Wednesday.

"It's like vanilla or chocolate," Roseman said. "It's like pepperoni pizza or sausage. What do you like better? And that's the best part about this is that they're not the same guy. They're different. They're unique in so many ways. And at the same time they both have some really great traits. And that gives them a chance."

When the media pressed Roseman for a clue at which quarterback he'd prefer, Roseman didn't bite.

"I like vanilla and chocolate," Roseman said.

Eagles fans must love this comparison after the club dealt a first, third and fourth in this year's draft and a first and second in 2017.
