Eagles trade out of first round, add extra picks

PHILADELPHIA (AP) The Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles traded out of the first round, sending the 32nd overall pick to the Baltimore Ravens for a pair of second-round picks and a fourth-round choice.

The Eagles get the 52nd and 125th picks in this year's draft, and a second-rounder in 2019. The Ravens, who used the 32nd pick to select Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson, also receive Philadelphia's fourth-round pick - No. 132.

The Eagles entered the draft without picks in the second or third rounds because of separate trades that brought quarterback Carson Wentz and cornerback Ronald Darby to Philadelphia. With no pressing needs to fill, executive Howie Roseman made it clear last week they were ''open for business.''

It's the third time in the past 11 years the Eagles didn't have a first-round pick. It also happened in 2007 and 2008.

A running back, offensive lineman, pass rusher and cornerback are among Philadelphia's top priorities.

They now have a second-round pick on Friday, and five on Saturday: two in the fourth round, one each in the fifth, sixth and seventh.
