Eagles' Parker, Samuel inactive

Published Nov. 28, 2010 3:55 p.m. ET

Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Juqua Parker is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears because of a hip flexor strain.

The Eagles already announced Saturday that Pro Bowl cornerback Asante Samuel would not make the trip because of a knee injury after placing cornerback Ellis Hobbs on injured reserve because of a neck injury earlier in the week. Now, they have to make due without Parker.

Second on the team with five sacks, he left the previous two games against Washington and the Giants because of the injury. With Parker out, Brandon Graham starts at left defensive end.

Defensive tackle Antonio Dixon, questionable with an abdominal strain, is active.
