Eagles' Connor Barwin not practicing with quad injury

Published Nov. 18, 2015 3:46 p.m. ET

Philadelphia Eagles outside linebacker Connor Barwin missed practice for the second straight day on Wednesday. Head coach Chip Kelly revealed that Barwin is dealing with a quad contusion, per NJ Advanced Media.

Kelly followed up with reporters and told them that he expects Barwin to play this Sunday. However, missing two days of practice in a row is not a good sign for his Week 11 status. If Barwin is forced to miss the game, second year linebacker and former first-round draft pick Marcus Smith would likely take his place in the lineup.
