Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant appears to be getting very close to making his return.

On Thursday, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett, via beat writer Clarence Hill, said that "Dez Bryant is running and cutting at full speed, per coach Jason Garrett. That is part of the process," though he has not returned to practice as a full participant.

That is certainly a good sign, as it indicates Bryant is feeling no ill effects from the procedure he had on his foot. There has been some speculation that Bryant could return to face the New York Giants this weekend, though that still seems like a longshot.

However, it would be somewhat surprising if Bryant isn’t back against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 8. He made it clear with this tweet immediately after he got injured that he does not expect to miss three months. If Bryant returned next week, he would have only missed five games.
