Derek Carr rallied the Raiders with a line made for Hollywood
Derek Carr will make sure to bring the Hollywood endings if his team moves to Los Angeles.
The second-year quarterback mounted an 80-yard drive to beat the Baltimore Ravens last weekend -- but not before uttering some inspirational words fit for a "Remember The Titans" remake.
"I just told the guys in the huddle to believe we could do it," Carr told CSN Bay Area's Scott Bair. "We've done this a thousand times in practice. I told them to believe it."
They don't draw it up any better in Tinseltown. Carr, injured and fresh off a crushing late interception, rallied his teammates. They responded to give the underdogs a thrilling victory.
It was the signature moment of Carr's young career -- and perhaps, one day, the signature scene of his biographical film.
