Dareus out for Bills with knee injury

Published Dec. 21, 2014 5:54 p.m. ET

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus has left the game against the Oakland Raiders with a knee injury.

Dareus was helped off the field after getting hurt early in the second quarter on Sunday. He was originally listed as questionable to return, but the Bills announced later he was out for the game.

Dareus has 10 sacks this season and is a major part of Buffalo's stout defensive line that has helped the Bills lead the NFL with 49 sacks coming into the week.

The Bills lost another defensive starter in the third quarter when cornerback Stephon Gilmore was knocked out with a concussion.
