Cowboys impressed with Greg Hardy's work ethic

The Dallas Cowboys and Greg Hardy await the defensive end's fate on his appeal of a 10-game suspension, and in the mean time, he continues to work. Hardy has been a participant during the team's OTA and mini-camp practices, and all signs point to a healthy marriage between he and the Cowboys.
“We’ve had that situation in the past where a guy might not be available to us in the early part of the season and we really feel like it's important to maximize the reps in the offseason and in training camp,” Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said, via Drew Davison of the Star-Telegram. “Use those reps as kind of a cushion for when you’re away and then you’re that much more ready when you come back.
“There is no question we like his work ethic, both in the weight room and on the practice field. He comes to work every day. He’s passionate about the game. He’s certainly a talented player.”
There is no timetable for when a decision will be made on Hardy's suspension appeal. With the players off until the start of training camp, Hardy will likely train on his own with the hopes of playing much sooner than expected in the 2015 regular season.
