Cowboys Fan Gets Super Bowl 51 Champions Tattoo (Photo)
If you believe in jinxes and are a Dallas Cowboys fan, one fan may have just made your worst nightmares come true.
Remember the immense dread, Dallas Cowboys fans? When Tony Romo went down in the preseason with a back injury against the Seattle Seahawks, surely visions of Brandon Weeden began dancing through your mind. It’s okay to admit it. However, Dak Prescott and the Cowboys have surprised everyone by being the best team in the NFL in the 2016 season.
Entering Week 14, Dallas has the best record in the league at 11-1. What’s more, they also currently have the best Super Bowl odds, even if they aren’t everyone’s pick to win it all. After 11-straight wins and with a chance to lock-up home-field advantage, though, there’s no case to be made that they aren’t in the mix. The only thing they need to avoid is a big injury or some other stroke of horrible luck.
You know, the kind of bad luck that could be brought about by a jinx. Not just any jinx would do, it’d have to be one displaying massive over-confidence way too prematurely. Something like getting a Super Bowl 51 Champions tattoo in early December:
Y'all keep hating when we win it! I'll remember that you all weren't BELIEVERS! #CowboysNation pic.twitter.com/x96G9yS3j2

Oh no.
That man there is 22-year-old comedian, actor, and writer (per his website) Jordan Garnett, a Florida resident. And on Tuesday, he showed no shame as he got a huge Dallas Cowboys star tattooed on his arm. Around the star were the words “Super Bowl LI Champions.” Here’s another look:
@dallascowboys Hey Dallas Cowboys! Now it's official. Don't let me down. SUPER BOWL 51 CHAMPIONS!!! Tattooed on 12/6/16. I'm calling it now. pic.twitter.com/iAyKZ8bd9Y

If you’re at all superstitious, this has to make you sick to your stomach. Everything about the 2016 season has been magical up to this point and now one fan is getting cocky and getting a tattoo way too soon.
Of course, there’s always the chance that Garnett is prophetic and has seen the future. But we’ve seen this dance before with both outcomes coming to fruition. For his sake (and the sake of his mentions), let’s hope that the Cowboys make his ink ring true come February.
