Colts rookies tour Indianapolis Motor Speedway

As the Indianapolis Colts rookie class adjusts to life in and new city and in the NFL, what better way to explore their new home than with a visit to Indianapolis Motor Speedway?
Last Friday Phillip Dorsett, Duron Carter and the rest of the Colts rookies spent the day at the Brickyard, learning the basics of IndyCar racing. Each player got to take a lap around the tack at speeds of more than 120 miles per hour in a Chevy Impala, which left some wanting to take the next step up.
“I’m going to come back and get into an IndyCar," Carter said, according to Colts.com. I’ve never been that fast before and want to go faster.”
The rookies also took a look at the garages and met with drivers J.R. Hildebrand and Josef Newgarden.
“It was pretty fun being here and seeing these cars move that fast,” defensive end Henry Andererson said.
“A day like today where you get to come out and see such a big part of the Indianapolis culture is really fun to do. Getting to know the town a little better, it’s definitely exciting.”
