Colts hire Manusky to lead defense
Greg Manusky has a new coaching home — the Indianapolis Colts.
As first reported by FOXSports.com, Manusky was hired Thursday to become Indianapolis' new defensive coordinator. Manusky will be working under new Colts head coach Chuck Pagano, who was Baltimore's defensive coordinator in 2011.
Manusky recently interviewed for the defensive coordinator position in Oakland. He was San Diego's defensive coordinator in 2011 before being fired at the end of the season. Manusky served as San Francisco's defensive coordinator from 2007 to 2010.
As first reported by FOXSports.com, Pagano hired three other assistants on Wednesday: Marwan Maalouf (special teams), Roy Anderson (safeties) and Alfredo Roberts (tight ends). Former Pittsburgh offensive coordinator Bruce Arians was hired in the same capacity earlier this week.
