Chiefs sign 10 rookie free agents

The Kansas City Chiefs announced the signing of 10 rookie free agents on Wednesday, including four offensive linemen.

The offensive linemen are Chris Harr of Tennessee-Chattanooga, Mike Ingersoll of North Carolina, USC's Butch Lewis and David Mins of Virginia Union.

The Chiefs also signed defensive linemen Brandon Bair of Oregon and Lucas Patterson of Texas A&M, wide receiver Josue Paul of Central Connecticut, Auburn defensive back Demond Washington, Michigan State tight end Charlie Gantt and linebacker Amara Kamara of Temple.

The Chiefs open their training camp at St. Joseph, Mo., on Friday.

There were reports they were negotiating with free agent wide receiver Steve Breaston of the Arizona Cardinals. Breaston played for two years under Chiefs head coach Todd Haley when he was the Cardinals' offensive coordinator.
