Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts to hold joint practice sessions

The Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts are slated to square off in a preseason game on Aug. 22, but that exhibition at Lucas Oil Stadium won't be the first time these two teams meet.
The Colts will share their practice field with the Bears ahead of time on Aug. 19 and 20, Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune reports. The two practice sessions will be closed to the public.
Bears general manager Ryan Pace and Colts general manager Ryan Grigson have a "longstanding relationship," according to the Chicago Tribune, forging the way for joint practices. The report notes that this will be Chicago's' first workout with another team since 2004, when the Bears practiced with the St. Louis Rams.
