Cam Newton's accuracy was incredible on short passes in Week 17
Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers got back to their winning ways in Week 17, defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in impressive fashion, by a score of 38-10. As you probably could have guessed, one of the biggest stars of the game was none other than MVP candidate Cam Newton. Not only did Newton score four total touchdowns, while passing for 293 yards, but also posted a stellar completion percentage.
As you can tell, Newton completed 80.8 percent of his passes as well. To add on to that, the likely 2015 MVP was literally perfect on passes that went past the line of scrimmage, but less than 10 yards.

That's pretty amazing, especially since it was likely expected that Carolina would look for more short passes with deep threat Ted Ginn sidelined in the Week 17 game.
