Calvin Johnson would be open to helping the NFL define a catch
Does anybody know what is and what isn't a catch anymore?
Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson thinks he does. On Wednesday, Johnson said he would be willing to help a newly formed committee decide what should be considered a catch, according to ESPN's Michael Rothstein.
Last week, Commissioner Roger Goodell said that he asked a select group of "football personnel" -- including general managers, former players and former officials -- to come up with some proposals on a simplified catch rule. The NFL's competition committee will then review those proposals and make the necessary changes.
#Lions WR Calvin Johnson said he would want to give input to the committee to decide what a catch is. Says "it's almost common sense."

After Johnson was robbed of a game-winning touchdown against the Chicago Bears back in 2010, it's really not surprising that he wants to have his voice heard.
Will the league listen?
