Bucs' Murphy, Spence will miss start of camp with injuries

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed receiver Louis Murphy on the active/non-football injury list with an ankle injury that will sideline him for the start of training camp.

Coach Lovie Smith also said Friday that defensive tackle Akeem Spence has a back injury that will prevent him from practicing. Spence was placed on the active/physically unable to perform list.

Both players still count on the 90-man roster.
