The Thursday injury report for the Buccaneers and their game against the Broncos.

The Buccaneers are busily preparing for week number four and their chance to rebound from the tough loss to the Los Angeles Rams last week. The trouble is that game is against the 3-0, defending Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos.

So with that, it’s time to look at the injury report. As you all know by now, after each of the three practices during the week leading up to the game, we publish the injury reports.

Let’s get to it, first for the Tampa Bay Bucs

Good news there, as Hawley returned to practice. He missed one play last Sunday with the ankle, but he sat yesterday.

See what I did there? I am trying to distract you from the fact that none of the other injured players returned to practice and that the Bucs might be quite short-handed on Sunday.

Did it work? No, not for me either.

Now for the Broncos:

I guess we can hang our hats on the fact that Ware isn’t going to play and that Ward is banged up?

It’s going to be tough, especially with key players missing.
