Buccaneers at Cardinals: Inactives

The inactive players for the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Atlanta Falcons.

Before every game, the two teams put out the inactive players for the game. The Buccaneers have released theirs as have the Cardinals, so we have it for you.

First for our Bucs:

And now for Arizona:

Thank goodness that as we expected, Lavonte is up and ready to go. It looks like Jacquizz Rodgers is active, do we see him get in the game to spell Doug Martin and Charles Sims? It certainly is a possibility.

For Arizona, the loss of Rucker is a big one, as it will help open holes for Martin and company on the ground. And it doesn’t hurt that Nelson is out.  No, it’s not Larry Fitzgerald or even Michael Floyd, but taking them down by one weapon always makes things easier on the defense.

Unfortunately, the teases of the injury report earlier in the week were not to be.  The Honey Badger, Tyrann Matheiu, is ready to play.  Now if he hadn’t been available, that would have been a big break for Jameis Winston and the Bucs’ offense. We all know how good Matheiu is.

The other tease we lost out on was Larry Fitzgerald. How good did his name look on the injury report, Bucs’ fans? He was limited earlier in the week, and there was always that inner hope that he wouldn’t be available, but it wasn’t to be. The great Fitzgerald will be out there, making this a real test for the Bucs’ secondary.
