Browns new coach Hue Jackson will not retain QB coach Kevin O'Connell

Quarterbacks coach Kevin O'Connell is not being retained by new Cleveland Browns head man Hue Jackson, who is bringing in his own QB coach. O'Connell confirmed the news with FOX Sports Thursday morning.

The 30-year-old O'Connell, a former backup QB to Tom Brady in New England, spent one season with the Browns staff. Before that, he helped get Marcus Mariota ready for the 2015 NFL Draft and had gained a lot of respect inside the private-QB coaching world.
