Browns linebacker Dansby inactive vs. Bengals

Published Dec. 14, 2014 12:09 p.m. ET

CLEVELAND (AP) Browns linebacker Karlos Dansby will miss his fourth straight game with a sprained left knee.

Dansby practiced this week and the Browns had been hopeful he would be back for their matchup Sunday with AFC North-leading Cincinnati. However, Dansby, who got hurt on Nov. 16 against Houston, isn't ready and Craig Robertson will again start in his place.

Cleveland's defense has been decimated by injuries all season, and the club will again be without safety Tashaun Gipson (knee) and rookie cornerback K'Waun Williams (hamstring).

The Bengals are missing two starters: cornerback Terence Newman (toe) and tight end Jermaine Gresham (ankle). Adam ''Pacman'' Jones will start for Newman and Kevin Brock will fill in for Gresham, who has 50 catches and three touchdowns this season.
