Browns' Cribbs to face Panthers

Published Nov. 28, 2010 12:03 p.m. ET

Browns wide receiver and special teams star Joshua Cribbs is active for Sunday's game against Carolina after missing last week with four dislocated toes.

Cribbs did not practice this week, but was listed on Cleveland's 45-man roster as the Browns (3-7) played host to the Panthers (1-9). The Browns have more offensive options with Cribbs, who also plays quarterback in the wildcat formation and returns kickoffs and punts.

Cribbs was injured two weeks ago in a loss to the New York Jets.

Carolina quarterback Brian St. Pierre, who started last week after being signed off the street, is inactive with a sore throwing shoulder. Panthers rookie quarterback Jimmy Clausen has returned to the lineup after missing last week with a concussion.
