Browns CB Haden back at practice after missing previous two days

BEREA, Ohio (AP) -- Browns Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden was back on the practice field after missing two days with a hip injury.

Haden's return on Friday increases the chance he'll play Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He got hurt last week in Cleveland's comeback win at Tennessee but did not miss a snap.

Haden took part in individual drills, running, jumping and backpedalling during the 20-minute portion of practice open to reporters.

The Browns are hoping they'll have Haden, who typically covers Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown.

Also, Browns starting linebacker Paul Kruger missed his second straight practice with what the team is listing as a back injury. It's not clear when Kruger got hurt.

Kruger has been one of the few bright spots for Cleveland's struggling defense this season. If Kruger can't play, Jabaal Sheard would likely start in his spot opposite Barkevious Mingo.
