Broncos' Manning and Osweiler had eerily similar starts in Denver

Brock Osweiler must've learned a lot as Peyton Manning's understudy.

He's posting nearly-indentical stats as his legendary predecessor. Just look at how the two passers stacked up in their Broncos debuts:

Manning might've been even more impressive back in 2012. He was coming off neck surgery and sat out the entire previous season.

But No. 18 was back to shatter passing records in no time flat. And, by pure statistical analysis, that only means good things to come for his former backup.
