Bills' LB Lawson excused from practice

Published Nov. 8, 2013 2:43 p.m. ET

Bills linebacker Manny Lawson is questionable for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh after being excused from practice on Friday.

Bills coach Doug Marrone says Lawson was excused for personal reasons.

The eight-year veteran has been a dependable starter for the Bills this year, recording 43 tackles, one sack and a forced fumble.

As expected, quarterback EJ Manuel will return against the Steelers after missing the past four games with a knee injury. Wide receiver Robert Woods (ankle) is doubtful, but will make the trip to Pittsburgh.
