CINCINNATI (AP) Bengals receiver A.J. Green worked out lightly on Thursday, a step toward being cleared for a first-round playoff game at Indianapolis.
Green suffered a concussion during a loss at Pittsburgh on Sunday night that relegated Cincinnati (10-5-1) to a wild-card berth. The Bengals play the Colts (11-5) on Sunday.
Green has to pass concussion tests to be cleared to fully practice and play on Sunday. He wore sweats and didn't even stretch Wednesday, but was able to warm up with the team a day later.
Green made his fourth Pro Bowl even though he missed three games and most of two others because of an injured big right toe.
