CINCINNATI (AP) By snagging a receiver in the second round, the Bengals got what they really needed in the NFL draft. The final day will be about developing depth and getting players who might start in a few years.

Cincinnati's most glaring need in the draft was a receiver. The Bengals got shut out in the first round when the top ones were taken ahead of their pick at No. 24, so they chose Houston cornerback William Jackson III.

In the second round, they got Pitt receiver Tyler Boyd, who will have a chance to win a starting job. They took linebacker Nick Vigil from Utah State in the third round, adding another player to develop over time.
