Chicago is coming off its bye in Week 9. The Bears are 2-6 on the season and are easily one of the worst teams in football. They are better than about three, maybe four teams, but this is a team certainly picking in the top 10 in the 2017 NFL Draft. At least having Jay Cutler back at quarterback makes Chicago somewhat interesting.

Tampa Bay lost on Thursday Night Football at home to the NFC South rival Atlanta Falcons, 43-28. This brings the Buccaneers to 3-5 on the season and a few games back of serious NFC Playoff contention. This team’s inability to win games at home is staggering. The Buccaneers continue to give up big plays in the secondary. One could argue that starting quarterback Jameis Winston has regressed in year two out of Florida State.

Date: Sunday, Nov. 13

According to OddsShark.com, the Buccaneers will be laying 1.5 points at home to the visiting Bears. The opening line was Tampa Bay laying two points to Chicago, but it was swung as far as the Buccaneers actually getting 1.5 points in this game.

Neither of these NFC teams has the look of a playoff-caliber team at the halfway point. It could go either way on Sunday afternoon in Tampa. Expect a close game decided by seven points or less. This is a must-win for either club if they want to keep the 2016 NFC Playoffs dream alive.
