A week after sitting out due to a chest injury, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski left in the final minutes of the first quarter against the Jets with a back injury Sunday.
The team said he would not return.
Gronkowski suffered a chest injury against the Seahawks that forced him to miss last week's game against the 49ers. Growkowski, who has missed three games this season, has 25 catches for 540 yards and three touchdowns.
