Adrian Peterson 'can't wait' to play indoor home games again
For his first seven seasons, Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson played his home games at the Metrodome. The past two seasons, however, the Vikings have shared University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium -- an outdoor venue.
The Vikings will play their home games at U.S. Bank Stadium starting next season, and Peterson can't wait to take the field under the roof again.

Adrian Peterson has tolerated the #Vikings playing outdoors at TCF. “I can’t wait until next year until we get back indoors,’’ he said.

Peterson has averaged 5.09 yards per carry and scored 54 touchdowns in enclosed stadiums (62 games) over the course of his career, compared to 4.78 yards per carry and 39 touchdowns in open stadiums (50 games). In six games under a retractable roof, he has averaged 4.15 yards per carry and scored two touchdowns.
U.S. Bank Stadium will feature a state-of-the-art, ETFE roof that lets light in like glass. We'll see how Peterson plays beneath this space-age covering in 2016.
