Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams continue special connection
Aaron Rodgers has made a star out of a number of wide receivers over the years, and you can add Davante Adams to that list in 2016…
There have been a number of stud receivers produced by the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers over the last few years, and former second round pick Davante Adams finally seems to be coming into his own in 2016.
Adams has not necessarily been the ‘go-to’ receiver for Aaron Rodgers this year, but he’s been more of a focal point in the offense and he has continued to gain the trust of his quarterback by making huge plays.
On Monday Night Football against the Eagles, Adams posted his third game of more than 100 receiving yards this season and his second multi-touchdown game, torching the Eagles secondary for 113 yards on five catches and two scores.

Adams is second on the Packers to Jordy Nelson with 58 catches so far this season, but he ranks first on the team in receiving yards (776) and has already doubled his career total of four touchdown catches this year alone (8).
While many have wondered what is going on with Rodgers since last year’s Sunday Night loss to the Denver Broncos, it’s been a great month for the Packers QB statistically and a phenomenal season for the third-year receiver out of Fresno State.
In the last four weeks, no player has more fantasy football production than does Aaron Rodgers, and the Packers were able to snap a losing streak that dates back to October 20th when they beat the Chicago Bears by four points.
The win over Philadelphia on the road is significant for the Packers, who are still just two games back of the Detroit Lions for first place in the division, and currently have a 2-1 division record.
The growing chemistry between Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers is going to be critical for the Packers and their 7th ranked passing attack as the season progresses. If he continues to provide a big play threat along with Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb, this Packers team is going to be dangerous yet again, no matter how poor they are defensively.
