49ers DT Dorsey injures knee without contact, carted off field

San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey was carted off the field with a right knee injury in Sunday's game at the Seattle Seahawks.
Dorsey's leg appeared to buckle underneath him without making contact on the Seahawks' first offensive play from scrimmage. Listed as questionable to return, Dorsey was replace by rookie Arik Armstead, this year's first-round draft selection.
The 6-foot-1, 297-pound Dorsey has started all 10 games this season, registering 18 tackles. He's in his third year with the 49ers, although he was forced to sit out the 2014 season due to a torn biceps injury.
Dorsey was the fifth overall pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2008 draft out of Louisiana State. He has his best season in 2010 with the Chiefs, notching a career-high 69 tackles and posting two sacks while starting all 16 games.
