Washington Wizards rookie guard John Wall has been ruled out of Monday night's game against the Miami Heat, after still having trouble with his bruised right knee.

Wall is averaging 18 points and 9.1 assists for the Wizards. Monday's game will mark the sixth he has missed with injuries this season; it's his second because of the knee, after a four-game absence with a sprained left foot.

Wall was the No. 1 pick in the draft this past June.

Wizards coach Flip Saunders also said that Al Thornton (ankle) and Yi Jianlian (knee) also have been ruled out for Monday, which was expected.
