Toronto's DeMar DeRozan debuts 'Achilles Heel' Nike Kobe 11 shoe
DeMar DeRozan was born and raised in Compton, California. He attended the University of Southern California. It wasn't surprising to see him rocking an L.A. legend on his feet.
DeRozan admitted his admiration for Lakers' star Kobe Bryant before the Raptors hosted Los Angeles in Toronto. The two basketball stars first met when DeRozan was a sophomore in high school; Bryant reportedly talked smack to DeRozan, even though DeRozan was just 15 years old.

DeRozan has rocked Kobe's shoes before. But last night against Brooklyn, he became the first to sport the "Achilles Heel" Kobe 11's -- which will likely be Bryant's last of his playing career.
The shoe, which pays tribute to Bryant's terrible 2013 injury, isn't available for sale until this weekend. They certainly looked good on DeRozan's feet, though. DeRozan ended the game with 15 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. He was 4-of-5 from the free throw line.
