Thunder's Durant, Heat's Dragic have differing viewpoints on undercut

Published Dec. 4, 2015 8:00 p.m. ET

With just under three minutes remaining in the first half of Thursday's matchup with the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder, Kevin Durant went up to catch an alley-oop pass and was undercut by Goran Dragic, forcing him to land awkwardly out of bounds.

Durant quickly confronted Dragic, getting in his face and calling him out, before being issued a technical foul.

After the game, two disagreed on Dragic's intent with the undercut. Durant thought it was intentional, while Dragic said he was innocently backing up, via The Daily Oklahoman:

"I thought he did (undercut me)," Durant said, before cracking a smile. "But I was just trying to add a little flair to the game."

Dragic denied any intent on the play.

"I didn't even bump him, I just went back," Dragic said. "The pass was way off and he landed out of bounds. I didn't say nothing. Just tried to stay in my head and play my game."

What did Durant say to Dragic?

"I don't know," Dragic said. "I didn't even listen, if I'm honest. Everything was so quick and there was a lot of players around."
