Spurs sign F Steve Novak to 2nd 10-day contract

The Spurs have signed forward Steve Novak to a second 10-day contract.

The deal announced Tuesday keeps Novak with San Antonio after he played in five of six Spurs games since signing out of the NBA Development League on Feb. 8. He is averaging 2.6 points and 4.3 minutes per game.

Novak played in seven games for the Dallas Mavericks earlier this season. He has appeared in 207 games in a career that also included stints with Houston and the Los Angeles Clippers.
