Brook Lopez is back! This is huge! Everyone celebrate! He has a foot, and it works!

From Devin Kharpertian of The Brooklyn Game:

It's so sad that the most exciting storyline of the season for the Nets is, "Hey! Our best player isn't that hurt! Horay!" But that's what we've come to with this team. Good luck making it through the rest of the season, Nets fans. It's going to be a tough one.

Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez participated in the non-contact portion of Nets practice Tuesday afternoon after suffering multiple injuries.

Lopez left the team’s Saturday night game against the Milwaukee Bucks with a sore right foot, the same foot that’s undergone three surgeries in the past four seasons. He then sat out Monday afternoon’s practice with back spasms. Given Lopez’s injury history, the team has taken a cautious approach. He’s expected to play, but there is no official word yet regarding his status.
