Toronto's starting backcourt has remained one of the most exciting tandems in basketball this season. Now, DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry share Eastern Conference Players of the Month award.

The Raptors were 12-2 in January, when they enjoyed a franchise-record 11-game winning streak. While Monday night's loss at Denver ended the impressive hot streak, DeRozan and Lowry have remained two of the more exciting players in the NBA.
Both will represent the Raptors for the Eastern Conference at the NBA All-Star Game in Toronto on Feb. 14. Toronto's head coach, Dwane Casey, was named Eastern Conference Coach of the Month Monday.
This is the second consecutive January that the Eastern Conference Player of the Month was shared; Atlanta's starting five won in 2015.
