Pacers are reportedly trying to trade Solomon Hill
It was clear the Indiana Pacers had no intention of keeping forward Solomon Hill when they declined his $2.3 million team option for 2016-17, but this makes it clear.
According to Marc Stein of ESPN.com, the Pacers have put Hill on the trade block:
With Paul George healthy and playing better than ever, and Monta Ellis and Chase Budinger now in the fold, Hill has fallen out of the rotation, playing a total of 44 minutes in seven games. Last season, Hill led the team in minutes and started in 78 games.
"The Pacers, amid their stunning 12-5 start, have made swingman Solomon Hill available via trade, according to league sources."
It's unclear what value the No. 23 pick in the 2013 NBA draft holds around the league -- expiring deals are less appealing than they used to be -- and at 24 years old already, it seems like Hill has is at or near his ceiling.
