Forget Kobe and Curry: LeBron's all-time dream teammate might surprise you
Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James is one of the best basketball players in history. His ability to score, rebound, defend and go out of his way to make everyone else better also cements him as an ideal all-around teammate.
Since human beings can't be cloned (yet), James has never had the experience of playing with someone like himself. But there is one NBA legend he wishes he could've called a teammate:

When you think about it, James hasn't played with too many all-time great talents. Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Ray Allen, Shaquille O'Neal (an old Ray and Shaq, but still), Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving make up the list. (In his first go-around with the Cavaliers, LeBron's most talented teammate might've been Mo Williams. Yikes.)
James and Kidd spent time playing together on the U.S. Olympic team in 2008. But James thrives as a ball-dominant forward surrounded by shooters, whereas Kidd's career 3-point average is 34.9 percent. It's unclear whether their skills would be complementary in the NBA.
But given how smart both guys are, no doubt they'd figure out a way to crush the rest of the league.
