Cavs reportedly wanted Draymond Green to be suspended two games

Draymond Green is back in uniform for Game 6 of the NBA Finals after serving his one-game suspension. But it appears that if the Cleveland Cavaliers had their way, he would be sitting for Thursday's game, too.
Cleveland was campaigning to have Green suspended two games for his swipe at LeBron James during Game 4, according to ESPN's Zach Lowe.
"The Cavs wanted him suspended for two games. I can tell you that, Lowe said during his podcast with Jeff Van Gundy. "They wanted it to be a flagrant 2 and to have him suspended for Game 5 and Game 6."
Green was forced to sit out Game 5 after he was retroactively assigned a flagrant 1 foul, which triggered an automatic one-game suspension because of his previous playoff flagrant fouls. If the NBA had ruled his actions deserved a flagrant 2, he would have missed Games 5 and 6.
With Andrew Bogut out for the rest of the playoffs after suffering a knee injury in Game 5, Green's presence on defense becomes even more critical as the Warriors seek their second consecutive title.
