Kahne returns to Truck series

Kasey Kahne is going back to the Truck series this year.
Kahne will drive the Kyle Busch Motorsports entry in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Darlington Raceway on March 12. Toyota will serve as the primary sponsor with The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence as an associate. Kahne competes full time in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for Red Bull Racing.
"Kyle has assembled a great group of guys over at KBM and I'm thankful for the opportunity to get back behind the wheel of the No. 18 Toyota Tundra," said Kahne. "They've been very successful in a short period of time thanks in part to the support they get from Toyota. We came very close to a victory last year at Pocono and I'm confident that we'll be in the hunt for the win again this time around.”
In Kahne's first career Truck start in 2004, he won at Darlington. He raced the following week, winning at Homestead-Miami Speedway. After a five-year gap, he returned to the series last year driving for Busch at Pocono Raceway. He led 17 of 55 laps in that race before finishing second to Elliott Sadler.
