Turf toe sidelines Phillips
For the second time this season, Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips is missing time because of turf toe.
"I think he aggravated it in Cleveland [on Saturday] a little bit," Reds manager Bryan Price told Reds.com. "Until you see it on the field, you're not going to hear much about it from Brandon. He's not going to alert anyone about it. He just plans to go out there and play, and then when it becomes noticeable, it becomes one of those situations where we take the lead to make sure he's getting adequate treatment and he's not going to continue to aggravate it.”
Well, sorry #RedsCountry but I had to give my foot a break! Even Superman had to take his cape to the cleaners, so I've been #Toed?
